Keep Moving Forward: 12-week online physiotherapy program

  • Are you frustrated with finding time to take care of your body? Depressed with persistent and ongoing aches and pains? Sick of not being able to move your body in a way that makes you feel happy?

I get it! I’ve been there! I’ve been stuck too. It is depressing and can feel hopeless and permanent. But, it doesn’t have to.

I have experienced both sides of this, as a patient and as a therapist. As a patient, I have had 2 knee surgeries, the first when I was 14 and initially, I was devastated. I thought I would never move like myself again.

    But I was wrong.

My personal experience recovering from surgery and returning to playing soccer showed me how resilient my body really was. It showed me what showing up consistently looks like, and how little actions each day lead to BIG changes. It also was the driving force behind my pursuit of physical therapy as a career.

I have spent the last 12 years working in a variety of outpatient clinics. While in this space, some of my clients thrived while others failed to achieve their goals. But why? The answers:

    •lack of commitment

    •lack of consistency

•lack of specificity in their programs

    •lack of accountability

    •lack of progressive overload.

And guess what? I am capable of providing all of those things, yet I was working in an environment that limited my ability to do so.

    It was so damn frustrating!

And it’s because of all this, that I created “Keep Moving Forward,” my signature 1:1 online physiotherapy program. I want to provide clients with the care they deserve in a way that is effective and sustainable.

This is a 12-week commitment because real and sustainable change requires consistent action over a period of time.

Clients complete the program feeling stronger and more resilient in their bodies. They resolve movement restrictions and report less pain. They build a habit of moving their bodies consistently.

I made this for the person who is frustrated and depressed in how their body moves. I made this for the person who is still having shoulder pain reaching overhead. I made this for the countless clients I have worked with over the years, who come to me exhausted and defeated from navigating insurance and our healthcare system.

I get it. And there is a better way. There is a better way to deliver physical therapy, and this is it: It’s 1:1 care with a specialist who is not overburdened by a caseload and documentation, it’s the ability to troubleshoot in real-time with your provider and it's the consistency of care with the same practitioner.

“Keep Moving Forward” is the solution for those who have been let down by their previous experience in healthcare. It’s for those who are exhausted from accessing physical therapy in the traditional way, depressed from not being able to move their bodies, and ready to make a change.

    You in? LFG!

  • What Lindsay's clients are saying about #KMF

“Lindsay is patient. She is attentive. She is an expert in what she does and that has given me the confidence that I can do things pain free, there are ways to care for myself as I get older (Hi 40 you are so fun!) and even get stronger with the ability to do more than I thought I would be able to do again! Thank you Lindsay! For your expertise, care and incredible laugh.” - Faith S.

“My knee is 100% now. No pain whatsoever. My balance and strength are much better too. I rode the wheels off my mountain bike in Winter Park, never an issue. So your plan worked perfectly. This is second injury you have healed for me. You are batting 100. Thank you so much!” - Greg L.

“I had the best physical therapy session with @lindzmerc today!! For the first time since beginning PT in April, I finally feel heard, understood and hopeful about healing my daily pain and getting safe and secure control of my body back. I am stoked to be working with her weekly for the next 3 months!!” - Katie B.

“My upper back pain is essentially gone. My posture is noticeably better. That alone makes me look and feel younger. The rest of me is so much stronger overall in places that my old routine (mostly walking and hiking) did not address. I’ve learned a lot.” - Joanne W.

  • Results you can expect.

Clients who have worked with Lindsay in her #KMF program have demonstrated the following after 12 weeks:

    • Increased strength

    • Improved awareness of how your body moves

    • Improved confidence

    • Believe their bodies are resilient

    • Improved mobility

    • Reduced pain

    • Reduced fear associated with movement

    • Developed the habit of taking consistent action when managing how your body moves.

  • Who is #KMF for?

    • This is for someone who is dedicated to making a change. Someone who is still navigating an injury or movement limitation and fed up with not reaching their goals.

    • Has a desire to take action to achieve their movement goals, but needs some direction.

    • Is ready to make a commitment, it’s a 12-week program folks.

    • Sick of navigating using insurance as a payor. Ready to put a little skin in the game and put themselves on the hook to take action.

    • Ready to access physiotherapy in a virtual capacity. Competing priorities make nailing down an appointment time difficult. When you do it from home you can decide when.

    • Someone who still moves in pain.

  • Who is #KMF NOT for?

    • This is not for someone who has just had an orthopedic surgery. Go see someone in person for that, at least initially.

    • Not ready to make a commitment. Real change takes time, which is why I ask for a 12-week commitment up-front.

    • Wants to use insurance. As a payor, health insurance limits how, when, and for how long Lindsay can treat her clients. She does not take insurance so she can provided the best, unrestricted care possible.
